Supporting the Swannanoa Valley through coordination, collaboration, and community building

The Swannanoa Resilience Hub is a locally led nonprofit dedicated to supporting the survivors of Hurricane Helene and uplifting community resilience in Swannanoa, North Carolina.

  • Community Outreach and Events

Fostering connection, belonging, and hope in the Swannanoa Valley

  • The Hub's Community Center

Temporarily located at 216 Whitson Ave, our 2026 plans include a permanent home in downtown Swannanoa

  • Disaster Case Management

Helping survivors navigate complex systems and processes, face-to-face

We believe no one should have to recover from a disaster alone.

If you’re still living with challenges related to the storm, or know someone who is, our disaster case manager can offer longer-term support and assistance, connect you to organizations and programs that specialize in repair, rebuilding, or other disaster-related needs, and be a partner to cheer you on, as we all recover from the storm.

GET SUPPORT

Hurricane Helene left Swannanoa residents without access to fresh food and local vendors without income. In February of 2025, the market began as a community effort, spearheaded by The Hub’s founding member, Deana Lytle. Since then, we have welcomed over 55 local vendors to our market.
